Jualin Sable Guting | Satrap
Epsilon Xi
My name is Jualin Guting. I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii. I was initiated into Kappa Psi at the Hawaii Chapter Epsilon Psi where I served as their Vice-Regent. I then found myself transferring over to the Pacific University School of Pharmacy. Here I am a second year student where I am the Regent and Historian of the Epsilon Xi Chapter. I am also the secretary and treasurer for our pediatric organization Boxer Buddies.
After graduation I would like continue into a residency program focusing on administration and leadership with an MBA. My current interest in pharmacy is administration and leadership, pediatrics, independent, and academia. Outside of pharmacy school I love to spend time with my friends and family, travel to new places, try new foods, etc. Kappa Psi has always been a place where I can always count on my Brothers to become my family or home away from home. Being a part of this Brotherhood has shown me the great this we can do together. As your NWP Satrap I am excited to serve this province and the fraternity. I am also dedicated to bringing us together as one one big happy PHARMILY! Feel free to reach out with anything related to the fraternity, pharmacy related, or if you just want to have a chat!

Elaina DeMerritt | Vice Satrap
Beta Pi
Hi everyone! My name is Elaina DeMerritt, and I will be your next Northwest Province Vice Satrap!
I grew up in Vancouver, Washington, and moved around between there and Cleveland, Ohio. I attended Washington State University for my undergraduate pharmacy prerequisites and now attend WSU Pharmacy in Spokane, where I plan on graduating in 2026! I was initiated into the Beta Pi chapter in 2023, and served as the Fundraising Chair on our 2024-2025 executive board.
I have a little tuxedo cat name Archibald, and way too many plants in my apartment (30 and counting)! In my freetime, I love to go skiing with my classmates, and when there is not snow, I enjoy attempting to garden on my deck and painting.
In school, I am apart of WSU's rural health track, a group of students dedicated to serving patients in rural areas of Washington State, I also served as the school's Fundraising Chair, in which I created almost all of the current WSU pharmacy apparel and merchandise. I cannot wait to work with the Province this upcoming year, please reach out to me with any questions or concerns, vicesatrap.nwp@gmail.com :)
